Got Crayons?
Starting April 22, 2009, Earth Day, The Stewardship and Christian Education teams will partner to collect used, broken crayons. Collections will continue through the summer months.
These crayons will be collected for the nonprofit organization, Crayons for Cancer. Crayons for Cancer will recycle the crayons, melt them down and make new crayons. They sell the crayons made for $1 a bag. The proceeds go to support the Family Fund on the Oncology floor at Connecticut Children's Medical Center. For more information: CrayonsforCancer.org
