RE: "Appropriate Footwear:" I have a simple little number from LL Bean--lace-up flats with a waffle sole in brown. Will those do? (A MILE or TWO, what?!)

I cannot come on that day and time, but this is a great idea! Please repeat it as I would like to hike there and with you and it sounds like a perfect jaunt with Brian and Meredith.
