BibleSong

The goal of the education team is to share, read, talk, pray, bless, and to encourage families to do so, every night in every home. BibleSong is designed to reinforce that message by providing families with the resources they need to make it a habit and by providing kids with an hour to praise God with arts and hands and voices.

Bible Song is designed to connect Sunday School to the home, and the home to worship. First, we immerse young people in a thorough understanding of a key Bible story by “singing, arting and signing through the Scriptures” each week. (Music, art, and American sign language help kids remember what they’ve learned.) Next, we connect church with the home in a nightly five-minute “Home Huddle,” preceded by a nightly pillow fight! The week’s scripture theme is added to caring conversations and fun with families who commit to:

• Sharing Highs & Lows
• Reading/Singing/Signing the week’s scripture verse together
• Talking about their day
• Praying for one another’s highs and lows
• Blessing one another

The investment is the most expensive currency you own—your time—invested in the most precious young person in your life. We ask participating parents and children to promise to make this a key part of their family ritual seven nights a week.
