The Confirmation Program of Emanuel Lutheran Church is offered to 6th , 7th and 8th grade students using the Faith Inkubators curriculum.

The Chinese symbol for chaos literally means  “where brilliant dreams are born.”  God  creates brilliance out of chaos.  When Jesus came, he threw the religious world into chaos.  With the Faith Inkubators system, we do not fear this chaos.  The system works in and through the chaos of adolescent life to bring hope.  Confirmation is a fantastic opportunity to nurture faith.

The Head to Heart Confirmation Program

• Creates memorable experiences
• Gathers youth and caring adults together every week
• Builds small group connections
• Encounters service learning in the community
• Invites youth to pray and worship together weekly
• Cultivates the youth’s gifts for ministry
• Teaches the way the brain learns through mediums of music, theater, art and storytelling
• Is built around the Ten Commandments, The Lord’s Prayer, the Apostle’s Creed, Baptism and Holy Communion
• Encourages families to share Home Huddles each night
• Succeeds because caring adults become Confirmation Guides for one year
